Piedmont Regional Jail Overview

Piedmont Regional Jail is operated by the Piedmont Regional Jail Authority and serves Nottoway County along with Amelia, Buckingham, Cumberland, Lunenburg, and Prince Edward counties. Nottoway does not operate a separate sheriff-run jail roster for ordinary local detention. PRJ local visits must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
